Kamen Rider (Series) [TV]

A long-running live-action Japanese franchise established in 1971 that centers around a hero who transforms into the titular hero through a transformation belt fights for happiness, love, and justice. Every year is a new show, with new characters, new villains, new story, etc… So there’s something for everyone.

When the series started, it was written by the legendary Shotaro Ishinomori. After he passed away, the franchise went on a hiatus until 2000, where the modern type of shows began.Currently, there are 24 and counting unique shows you can chose from, varying in tone from that of a high school drama to a story about monsters in mirrors. Each show also has its own tone, as some are comedic, while some are super-serious.
